Kengo Takishima serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at Baylor Genetics, a leading clinical diagnostic laboratory at the forefront of genetic testing and personalized care. Appointed in November 2016, Kengo focuses on driving innovative growth strategies and cultivating a learning culture that places patients and customers at the center of the company’s mission to help improve and transform healthcare.

Prior to joining Baylor Genetics, Kengo served in senior roles in corporate strategy, business development, private equity investment, and M&A at H.U. Group Holdings, General Electric, Kaleido Holdings, and Mizuho Bank.

He recently was acknowledged as one of the Top 25 Health Technology Leaders in Houston and was named to Slice of Healthcare’s “50 Under 50” list of top industry innovators.

Kengo earned a Master of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, in Medford, Mass., and a Master of Business Administration from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
