Chris Sands serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Baylor Genetics. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the diagnostics industry, Chris leads Baylor Genetics’ enterprise growth strategy across Sales, Market Access, Clinical Engagement, and other key functions, advancing the company’s commercial priorities, strengthening health system partnerships, and accelerating adoption of our product portfolio.

Prior to joining Baylor Genetics, Chris held executive roles at GeneDx, Sema4, and Ambry Genetics, where he led commercial teams, strengthened strategic partnerships across major health systems, and drove adoption of advanced genomic technologies—expanding access, improving provider engagement, and accelerating growth across multiple precision-medicine portfolios.

Chris received his BS in business management from Bloomfield College.
