Baylor Genetics, a clinical diagnostic laboratory at the forefront of genetic testing, is now integrated with Valley Children’s Healthcare through Epic Aura, streamlining access to genetic testing within existing clinical workflows.
The integration enables providers to order Baylor Genetics tests and receive results directly within the electronic health record (EHR), helping improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
Through this collaboration, Valley Children’s providers can more seamlessly access Baylor Genetics’ testing services, including Rapid Whole Genome Sequencing (rWGS) and Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS). The integration supports timely access to genomic insights and helps bring advanced diagnostic capabilities closer to patients and families across rural and underserved communities.
