Most recently, Kengo Takishima, president and Chief Executive Officer of Baylor Genetics, was cited for driving transformative change, delivering tangible results in 2023, and contributing to the future of healthcare by Life Sciences Voice, a leading source of news and insights for the life sciences industry. He previously was selected among the Top 25 Health Technology Leaders in Houston and Slice of Healthcare’s 50 Under 50 list of top industry innovators.
Dr. Christine Eng, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer of Baylor Genetics has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of their Top Women leaders as part of its annual list published in the March 2024 issue of the magazine. She was recognized for spearheading enhancements to Baylor Genetics’ rapid Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), Carrier Screening, Chromosomal Microarray Analysis, and Hereditary Cancer tests as well as several newly launched panels in 2023. Dr. Eng also recently was elected to the Board of Directors for the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG).
