Thomas (Tom) Felton serves as Senior Laboratory Genetic Counselor at Baylor Genetics and has five years of experience in laboratory sciences and healthcare.

Tom received his bachelor’s degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. While at Carleton College, Tom did research in plant genetics and volunteered at the Molecular Biology Division laboratory at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where he subsequently pursued his master’s degree in genetic counseling.

Tom is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and has several years of experience working in referral testing, cytogenetic, and molecular genetic laboratories. He also has experience in electronic medical record interfaces and data management.

In his free time, Tom enjoys cooking, watching soccer, and spending time with his dog.
