Joanna Lee serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Baylor Genetics.
Joanna received her bachelor’s degree in human biology and psychology from Michigan State University. During her undergraduate studies, she discovered the field of genetic counseling. Inspired by her experiences as a genetic counseling assistant and collaborating with genetic counselors, Joanna chose to pursue a career in genetic counseling. Post-graduation, she furthered her education at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, successfully completing her genetic counseling graduate program.
Joanna is an American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) board-certified genetic counselor and has extensive experience in insurance coverage for genetic testing. In addition, Joanna has clinical experience in in-patient and pediatric genetics as well as multidisciplinary clinics.
In her free time, Joanna enjoys hiking, camping, trail running and skiing with her friends, family and dogs.
