Dr. Chung Wah (Wilson) Wu currently serves as Assistant Clinical Director at Baylor Genetics. In this role, Dr. Wu supports the implementation and analysis of clinical whole exome and genome sequencing. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM).

Dr. Wu received his bachelor’s and doctorate degrees from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in China. Following his PhD, Dr. Wu served as a postdoctoral fellow and research scientist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Wu was involved in the development of a multi-target stool DNA test for colorectal cancer screening and other early cancer detection tools with Exact Sciences.

Dr. Wu was accepted into BCM’s and Baylor Genetics’ Laboratory Genetics and Genomics Fellowship, which he completed in 2021, and is board-certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
