Test Updates // Oncology // FISH Panel Probes

Thank you for your continued trust in Baylor Genetics as your genetic testing partner.

As we continually upgrade and refine our test menu and services, we want you to be the first to know of changes that may affect your testing with us.

Effective April 1^st, 2019, the following test updates will occur:

The probes on the following FISH panels will be updated:

• ALL FISH Panel (test code 8010): CDKN2A del, BCR/ABL gene fusion, KMT2A rearrangement, IGH rearrangement, CEP 4 gain, CEP 10 gain
• CLL FISH Panel (test code 8040): Trisomy 12, ATM del, p53 del, MYB del, 13q del, IGH rearrangement, IGH/CCND1 fusion
• NHL FISH Panel (test code 8020): BCL6 rearrangement, IGH/CCND1 fusion, MYC rearrangement, MALT1 rearrangement, BCL2 rearrangement

Transition period

If you are using an older test requisition form after April 1^st, 2019, orders for ALL FISH Panel (test code 8010), CLL FISH Panel (test code 8040) or NHL FISH Panel (test code 8020) will automatically include the updated probes.

The updated Tumor Analysis requisition will be available to download on April 1^st, 2019.
