By the first half of 2025, healthcare providers at hospitals and health systems using Epic Aura’s platform will be able to seamlessly order Baylor Genetics tests, including Whole Exome Sequencing and Whole Genome Sequencing, directly within the EHR. This integration will streamline access to critical results, empowering providers to make faster, more informed treatment decisions—especially for neonatal and pediatric intensive care patients. Patients will be able to see their results through Epic’s MyChart portal, enhancing their overall experience and engagement in their care.
