Tim Webster serves as the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Baylor Genetics and has over 30 years of experience in laboratory medicine. Prior to joining Baylor Genetics, Tim held various leadership roles as a laboratory manager, general manager, vice president of technical operations, and vice president of commercial operations at academic medical centers, community hospitals, as well as both publicly traded and private companies.

Tim received his medical technology training at the Royal Army Medical College in London, England, from the Farnborough College of Technology in Hampshire, England. In addition, he has a Master of Healthcare Administration and Organizational Management from Ashford University in San Diego, California.

Earlier in his professional career, Tim’s particular interest in process improvement made him a regular presenter at various national society meetings and symposiums. During his professional accounting career, Tim led various organizations to improve their laboratory services and expand testing menus focusing on the cornerstone of quality and patient-centric organizational principles. He has represented several professional societies in advocating for patients and the laboratory industry with state agencies.

In his free time, Tim is an avid cyclist. He rides around 3,000 miles a year and rides for a cause — to help raise money for the Patrick Dempsey Cancer Center. In addition, Tim is a musician and enjoys playing the piano and guitar.
