Michael serves as the Vice President of Business Development and Channel Partnerships at Baylor Genetics and has over 30 years of experience in healthcare. Mike’s experience ranges from large healthcare corporations to startup companies.  

In 1991, Mike received his bachelor’s in biology from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. After graduation, he joined Pfizer Inc., where he enjoyed a 19-year career leading sales teams and providing solutions that focused on physicians and their patients. After Pfizer, he joined Quest Diagnostics for 7 years and relocated to Houston, TX. While at Quest, Mike spent 5 years leading the Southwest Region sales organization, was responsible for nearly $1 billion in revenue, and achieved double digit growth in his final year.   

In addition, Mike has experience with leading the commercial operations at smaller, high-growth startup companies. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exercising, and playing golf. Mike also loves live music and traveling out west, or to Maine to fly fish and enjoy the mountains and lakes.
